Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam, the beautiful film actress was born on 28 November 1988 at Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh. She was born to a famous Punjabi film director – Mukesh Gautam and her mother Anjali Gautam. Before she made her entry in films, she was a prominent face in all the ad films of ‘Fair & Lovely’ a fairness cream brand. Before pursuing acting, she was studying law. But left it for her dream of acting in movies. After that she pursued her part- time graduation from Mumbai.

Yami Gautam started her acting career at the age of 20. She made the beginning of her acting career with television serials like Chand Ke Paar Chalo, Raajkumar Aaryyan. She was also popular for hit serial Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam which telecasted in Colors. Moreover, she was also part of reality shows like Kitchen Champion Season 2 and Meethi Choori No 1.

Yami Gautam started her film career with her debut movie in Kannada Ullasaha Utsaha (2009). After that she made her successful Bollywood debut with romantic – comedy film called Vicky Donor in a lead role opposite Ayushmann Khurana. This was a commercially successful film and one of the highest grossing film in 2012. Her performance in Vicky Donor has even made her win the Best Female Debut at the Zee Cine Awards and IIFA.

Her most memorable roles were that of a young wife played in Badlapur (2015) opposite Varun Dhawan, a blind woman in Kaabil (2017) opposite Hrithik Roshan, an intelligence officer in war drama Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) and Bala (2019) opposite Ayushmann Khurana. She also featured in others films too like Total Siyappa (2014), Sanam Re (2016), etc.
Yami Gautam is one of the talented actresses in Bollywood who is still creating magic with her acting skills and beauty. Many brands have even signed her up for their product’s endorsements like Fair & Lovely, Cornetto, Chevrolet, Samsung Mobile, and many more well-known reputed brands.
