Ella Fanning, an American actress, is the younger sibling of famous actress Dakota Fanning. Elle was born in Conyers in Georgia and her birth-date is 9th April 1988.
Career
Elle Fanning started acting at a very early age. She debuted with the film I am Sam (2001), where she played the younger version of her sister’s character.
Also, as a child star, she starred in many films – including Phoebe in Wonderland (2008), Babel (2006), Somewhere (2010) and We Bought a Zoo (2011).
However, her breakthrough film is considered to be Super 8 (2011), a sci-fi film of renowned producer and director J J Abrams; this film earned her critical acclaim and a Spotlight Award at the Hollywood Film Festival.
Among the roles that feature Fanning in lead roles are Maleficent (2014) and its sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019); she enacted the role of Princess Aurora in both these films. More so, she had the lead role in other movies such as Ginger & Rosa (2012) and We Bought a Zoo (2011).

For her stupendous performance as Catherine the Great in the historical comedy series The Great, she won a nomination at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards under the Best Actress for TV Series Musical or Comedy.
Plus, as part of her other achievements, she got an opportunity to serve as a jury member at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, making her the youngest person to enjoy this privilege.
