Surendra Pal

Surendra Pal is an Indian actor who is known to work in various Hindi films and television serials. Surendra Pal was born on 25 September 1953. He is best known for his role as Dronacharya in Indian epic drama Mahabharat (1988), Amatya Rakshas in Chanakya (1991) and the daring villain Tamraj Kilvish in superhero based serial Shaktimaan (1997). He is also known to play Sati’s father Prajapati Daksha in popular serial Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev (2011).

Surendra Pal started his acting career in 1984 with Bollywood films like Manzil Manzil and Grahasthi. The following year in 1985 after his debut in Hindi movies, also saw his mind-blowing performance in films like Maa Kasam and Ghulami. He also appeared in the critically acclaimed film Tamas (1988). After that he appeared in hit films like Tejaa (1990), Khuda Gawah (1992), Veergati (1995), Indian (2001), Lakshya (2004), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Airlift (2016), 1920 London (2017) and numerous other Bollywood films in his credit.

Surendra Pal also worked in a Malaylam film Pavikkara Pappan (1995) and Tamil films like Mr Romeo and Rajali in 1996. Surendra Pal also has a strong foothold in Bhojpuri Cinema too. He even owns his own production house where he has produced and directed Bhojpuri movie ‘Bhauji Ke Sister’ in 2007. He also worked in Aisan Pyar Se Dekhbu To Pyar Ho Jai (2010) and Maa Tujhe Salaam (2018).

Apart from acting in films. Surendra Pal is also a popular actor in Indian television industry. In his credit, there are many serials like Zee Horror Show’s Saya episode in 1995. He also worked in popular TV serials like Kanoon (1993), C.I.D (1998), Shagun (2001), Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2006), Choti Bahu, Prithvi Vallabh − Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi (2018), and numerous characters in many television shows and serials.

Surendra Pal’s contribution in Indian cinema and television is very prolific and superior. The manner in which he delivers his dialogues and plays his character is popular among his audiences.
